Yes, today is not Monday. It is Thursday and I am very tardy in posting my weekly goals list on account of working an unusually large number of hours this week (~80). Because of that, I am setting just one goal for this week:
- Complete at least one practice SAT test
Here is a quick update on my Day Zero progress: I watched another movie on AFI’s list of the 100 Greatest Movies of All Time, but I am not sure how I feel about it or how I want to write about it. In the world of music, I purchased four music albums on Robert Dimery’s list, but I just haven’t listened to any yet. I’ve been pretty good at keeping up with my daily Lumosity training, taking my daily vitamins, and brushing my teeth habitually.
Speaking of teeth, I just had a cleaning done on Monday. While I may have already completed goal 035, I didn’t do a very good job in measuring the improvement in the whitening of my teeth, so I am going to wait until they are sparkly white before I consider the goal achieved. Additionally, while I was at the Dentist, I inquired about the cost to fix my teeth in accordance with goal 034. Firstly, I have to have my wisdom teeth removed ($50/tooth). Then, I may need my last baby tooth pulled (it never came out). Finally, I may need to get braces ($1800 with insurance).
In my Russian studies, I’m currently in the middle of Lesson 2 of Unit 2, Level 1. I have not done well on daily evaluations though, at all. This goal is a bit unrealistic because I am not always sure of what I may have done wrong in any given day until days, weeks, months, or even years later. I’m working on revising it. If you have any suggestions, I would be very interested in them!
